On Universities

At the moment, I still believe that it is very unlikely for me to go for another kind of formal education (especially after THAT fateful one in our precious Warwick). However, as a back up plan, I know that pursuing another degree in a country that may grant permanent residency after, is the most feasible one. I mean, as a back up plan after the turning of events that just bestowed upon me lately.

So here it goes.
1. University of Waterloo -- Master of Quantitatve Finance, http://sas.uwaterloo.ca/finance/
Let's see if I still have the guts to do this one after a two-years period. I like the low tuition fee and the possibility to set it off with an internship. I like the Canadian landscape and my (current) boyfriend gave it a big yes when I told him of this 'back-up plan'

2. Universiteit Leiden -- Leiden University Excellence Scholarship Programme (LExS),  http://prospectivestudents.leiden.edu/scholarships/scholarship/lexs.html -- MSc in Mathematics (Mathematics and Science-based Science), http://en.mastersinleiden.nl/programmes/mathematics-and-science-based-business/en/programme/
My father has always hesitated on any plans related with the Netherlands. But to be honest, it is one of the most obvious option. Being one of its former colony, permanent residency would be so easy to get. And after all, I can still do Math.

3. European universities with free tuition fee, http://www.scholars4dev.com/4031/list-of-european-countries-with-tuition-freelow-tuition-universities-colleges/
Given I manage to live modestly and save enough for my living fees (and given my (current) boyfriend manage to put HIS shopping spree under control and his budgeting plan works), this option won't be so bad. Even if living in Europe has never been a temptation for me.

4. Foreign government scholarships, http://www.scholars4dev.com/1892/government-scholarships-for-developing-countries/
Another obvious option even if a hard one. Will take too much of an effort so this will be the last option for me.

Well, seems like I have to find more options on Canadian universities. I will, after I finish these projects of mine.
Project #1, my website
Project #2. our round the world trip planning
Project #3, our new zealand traveling test itinerary

Hah. Carpe diem.
